Hotel du Vin at One Devonshire Gardens
The Jiggers are one of the best ceilidh bands Glasgow has to offer. They have been the wedding band of choice at One Devonshire Gardens over the years.
Location
It’s set in a tree-lined Victorian terrace in the west-end of Glasgow.
Quirky Features
“One Dev” is a five-star boutique hotel made up of a collection of neighbouring Victorian townhouses. They’ve kept the original period features such as open fireplaces, ornate corniced ceilings and bay windows. If there’s one word to describe it, it’s “luxurious”. It has a very strong reputation in Glasgow. Although the dancefloor is not huge, we’ve played some great ceilidhs in there with our smaller band line-up (e.g. the 3 piece), and people often hire our string quartet or background pianist for drinks receptions there.
What makes it a good venue?
The range of private rooms available allows for smaller intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations.
