Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor
The Grosvenor is the Grand Old Lady of Glasgow venues, and also where the Jiggers have been invited to play for the last few Hogmanay parties.
Location
The Grosvenor is at the top Byres Road in the west-end of Glasgow.
Quirky Features
It’s a historic building with a Grade A listed façade and some of the function suites have great views out over The Botanics from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
What makes it a good venue?
The main suite is traditionally decorated and has its own private foyer where guests can arrive and mingle before the celebrations get under way. This is a big hotel that feels intimate and classy. It’s also very family friendly, if you’re thinking of having a birthday party here.
Our Impressions
There’s a raised stage area in the main ballroom and plenty of space for tables round the ample dance-floor, ideal for your ceilidh dancing. There’s also a smaller suite that accommodates roughly 70 or so guests, which is good for birthday parties and family events. It’s a modern venue with everything you would expect from the Hilton name.
